Nice hotel location,clean,staff 8 Was in a great location near india gate and the colaba markets, across from starbucks with free internet-you had to pay to get it at the hotel but was very fast. Rooms were big and comfortable, although the hot water was non existent in our room.

Clean hotel in great location Location, buffet breakfast, great staff. 9 our stay at diplomat hotel was great. the rooms are spacious, modern and clean. the staff are always available to help and the location was fantastic (just behind india gate and the taj palace hotel). we would definitely stay here again! only problem is that the hotel will only provide wifi for a price. easily fixed by going to starbucks across the road though!

Nice Hotel, Superb Location, Friendly staff Location, Location, Location.... right behind the Taj Hotel, Starbucks across the street..Gateway close by 8,7 Was pleasantly upgraded to a nice room with a lovely view over the Taj swimming pool and view of the street..Thanks so much to the staff for being so friendly and helpful.... Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Museum is excellent, Gateway is worth a look, but be prepared to be hassled by "a million and one" touts to flog anything...take a boat out to Elephanta Island is OK if you have time... takes 1 hour going there and 1 and half hours going back... it's OK, but not super-special... Lots of nice little restaurants in this South Mumbai area too..

Great location but too expensive Location, service 6,7 The location of the hotel is perfect, 1 minute walk from the Gateway of India and opposite a Starkbucks coffee. When we arrived, we had a big problem in the bathroom, it was full of ants and the room was not so clean. However, the staff was very helpful and they agreed to move us to a better room right away. During our stay, the service was good, the receptionists always answered our questions and helped us as much as they can. However, for more than 100 USD a night, I would have expected better quality in the room, it was just acceptable. The AC was quite noisy. And the breakfast is included but very basic.
