Good base to explore

I've stayed here on numerous occasions. Mainly because it's a good location for meetings. And in the evening there are plenty of restaurants and bars relatively close by. It's a good budget hotel, the rooms aren't huge but for similar priced hotels in Singapore I think this is better. Will continue to go back until I can justify a higher budget for a better hotel.

The location was great, just 5 mins walk away from the chinatown train station and near lots of eating places. However, the room was kinda small for the room type that we chose (executive). the room was just nice for a double bed with minimal walking space. the bed would be better if the pillows were more comfortable. the pillows that were provided was already quite flat and worn out. i must comment that the bathroom was spacious and clean.

Exceptionally good price-exceptionally small room
Excellent value for the quality of the accommodations, which are new. Internet and telephone speakerphone quality are excellent.

The Porcelain hotel is new with modern amenities and excellent Internet and telephone capabilities. But, the superior rooms are exceptionally small, lack any closet space and almost no room to put your luggage on the floor to live out of. Likewise there are no hooks or hangers on which to hang clothing. This is a great hotel if all you are looking for is a place to stay for one or two nights adn you have limited or no luggage. It's not a hotel you can work from as there is no desk or any space to do much other than sleep and take a shower.
