Had an excellent first 2 nights of our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka at Thilanka. Very relaxing and peaceful hotel with a gorgeous pool and surrounding area. Large comfortable room with balcony and big bathroom.
Good location for visiting Dambulla and Sigyria.

Unfortunately the breakfast and food menu is limited & does not really match-up to four-star standards. Staff need more training and not professional enough in dealing with customers.

Good hotel, good locatin. We stayed here for several days and did day trips to Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonaruwa. Hotel has beautiful gardens. Nice river at the end of the plot.Saw swimming iguanas.

This hotel could be so much better than it actually is . Although the bedroom was fine and spacious the bathroom however looked totally unfinished with bare plaster on all the walls . The door to the WC was so narrow that one needed to go in sideways . The rickshaws to transport guests to the car park were badly in need of repair ,consequently it was easier to walk with the luggage to the car park. The hotel is fine for a one night or possibly two night stay but no longer thank you .

The surrounding was unique. It was like a farm house. You will see lots of fruit plants & vegetable planted in the hotel area. Spa & Massage is available. Spacious rooms & bathroom with jacuzzi. Staffs are friendly. It was a value for money hotel. Located nearby the Golden Temple.

Lovely rooms in a beautiful setting

This is a hotel set in beautiful gardens. The room was very well appointed with everything you could hope for. The swimming pool was very welcome. The meal we had in the hotel restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.
One bad point was that they tried to charge us again for the room. After a duscussion and me retreiving our booking confirmation this was sorted out.
