The hotel is not luxurious or ultra modern but its simplicity is good enough for me. Helsinki's lodging is expensive so this is the best bet on an overall rating. You get comfort, cleanliness, convenience and affordability in this hotel.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Arthur Hotel and would definitely stay there again. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the Hotel in the evening and the food was delicious and very good value.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and felt very relaxed here. We asked for a baby
cot and we had an excellent one waiting for us in the room. The room was much bigger than expected and overlooked a park and a school. The staff were really friendly here and went ot of there way to help us. We would love to return to this hotel in the future.

simple budget hotel in the city centre

The hotel is old and gloomy. The furniture in my room was old, curtains very dirty and there was no design or decoration to the room so it felt austere. The breakfast was OK. The staff was very friendly and spoke perfect English. I recommend this hotel for budget travellers, who need easy access to the railway station in Helsinki and to the airport.

We were very happy with the rooms they were clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. A lovely buffet breakfast with a good variety to choose from. The location was outstanding everything in walking distance, buses and central railway station within 500 mtrs.
Its in central city so you also have your shops and restaurants close by. I found it very good value for your money. We would certainly stay there again and would strongly recommend it.

8 minutes from Central Train Station and Bus Terminal. Excellent value for money for a hotel in a city centre

room is very spacious. hotel is conveniently located in city centre. for just 35 euros per person inclusive of a good spread of conntinental breakfast, this is a very good value for money hotel well suited for a short stay
there's direct airport transfer via public bus 615 and 620 for just euros each way. 615 is faster taking just about 30 minutes without traffic jam

The staff at the hotel were very pleasant. I arrived on an early morning flight and while they didn't have a room prepared for early checkin, they looked after my bag and suggested some great things to do while waiting. In the end I was able to check in an hour early. Breakfast was sublime. My room was a good size, clean and warm. Free wifi. A very pleasant stay. Price was a little high but not when compared with most other accom in Helsinki.

The location is great. The room is clean. Since the hotel itself is old, don't expect the room is very new but it's tidy and clean. The mattress is too soft. Do not provide slippers, toothbrush...and other amenities expect all-in-one shampoo. The breakfast is great. All kinds of food in buffet style.
